The St. Louis GM Doug Armstrong is looking to improve his team, heading towards the trade deadline. The St. Louis Blues are currently 4th in the Central division.
According to Sportsnet's Hockey insider Elliotte Friedman the St. Louis Blues have their eyes on acquiring Montreal Canadiens defenceman Ben Chiarot.
The Blues have reportedly been interested in Chiarot since Jeff Gorton was hired as the Canadiens Excutive Vice-President and said that the Habs are open to teams enquiring about trades on any player.
Elliotte Friedman also shared that the Blues aren't the only team interested in the big 6 foot 3 defenceman, so Habs GM Kent Hughes can look at all his offers before deciding what's best for the Canadiens.
