The National Hockey League released an interesting chart in the last few hours about the Montreal Canadiens' young defenceman, Arber Xhekaj.
Here is the translation:
"Was passed over 3 years into the draft before the Canadiens invited him to their rookie camp in 2021.
Got passed over 2 years in the OHL draft before joining Kitchener.
Worked at Costco when the 20-21 season was cancelled. Also had a job building tennis courts.
Signed his first professional contract in October 2021 and scored his first goal on October 22, 2022."
It's nice to see the NHL recognizing his hard work and involvement!
