Maple Leafs Star Expresses Disappointment in World Junior Championship

We eat, breathe, and sleep the sport, and we love seeing team Canada succeed.
Tonight, team Canada will play for a gold medal in the World Junior Championship, but unfortunately, the game will occur at the same time as the matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Seattle Kraken.
Leafs star forward Mitch Marner expressed his disappointment in this, as he won't be able to watch his nation fight for gold.
Sucks tonight we don't get to watch the gold medal game for Canada ... (Bedard) has been special. What a talent. How he finds the ice ... A lot of skill, his shot is unreal. His work ethic, his compete on pucks has been great to watch.
Marner, alongside the rest of Canada, has been shocked by the skill and effort of Connor Bedard. While he won't be able to watch live, Marner will likely play some tough matchups against Bedard in the coming years.
