Montreal Canadiens franchise goaltender spoke with the media yesterday and it left more questions than answers.
The Canadiens' star goaltender hasn't played since losing to the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley cup Final, though Price is trying to return to the Canadiens this season there's some that believe Carey Price has played his last game.
Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes named Carey Price as the only player untouchable for the Canadiens. Though some took that as he's the only player Kent Hughes won't trade, others believe it's because Carey Price is untouchable because he's never going to be able to play again.
What makes Price retiring a possibility was when the Habs GM Kent Hughes was asked if Carey price will ever play again, Hughes replied "I don't know."
Then in Carey Price press conference, he said the next couple weeks will decide a lot of things. Price was also asked by media during the press conference, "does that mean you might have to retire?" to which Carey Price replied "I don't know."
Habs general manager Kent Hughes spoke with La Presse on Sunday and once again revealed that he wasn't sure if Carey will ever play again. Hughes went on to say,
"You never know, it's always a possibility," he said. "There are a lot of things over the next two weeks that will determine the rest of my season. I'm a little anxious to know the answer. We'll learn that pretty quickly. "
