A few minutes ago, Elliotte Friedman confirmed that the Colorado Avalanche placed a player on waivers.
Colorado Avalanche Place 27-Year-Old Forward Fredrik Olofsson on Waivers
The insider Elliotte Friedman shared on X that the Colorado Avalanche organization placed the forward Fredrik Olofsson on waivers.
Olofsson, 27, was drafted 98th overall in 2014 by the Chicago Blackhawks. Since then, he played 83 NHL games with the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche.
This season, in Colorado, he scored three goals and six assists in 55 games.
As the trade deadline looms, it'll be interesting to follow if this is a strategic move to complete a deal.
