BREAKING: NHL Team is Sold at a Shocking Price
The first of what will almost certainly be two team sales this year, the Nashville Predators have changed hands.
Predators Sold at Shocking Price
It was reported a few minutes ago that a majority stake in the Nashville Predators has been sold. This 60% stake will be going to wealthy businessman and former Tennessee governor Bill Haslam. This purchase values the Predators at a whopping $880-million.
Haslam is a controversial figure for his dedicatedly right-wing ideas and stances, which could be the reason the Predators went all-out with their Pride Night this season.
Hopefully this purchase gives the team the funding it needs to become competitive sooner rather than later.
